Alexander Popini (1878-1962) : The drawings of Romanian-born illustrator and sculptor Alexander Popini (1878-1962) graced many magazines of the 1920s, both "little" and popular, including Pearson's Magazine, The Century, and The Masses. In addition, he produced art for advertisements and illustrated several books. He served in the RAF in World War I.
