The inaugural friendly match between teams from the TT Roll-up and the EGGS was held on the Blue course on Tuesday 10th May 2016. The result was a marginal win, 3 1/2 to 2 1/2 points, to the TT Roll-up team.
The match was played in rather damp conditions - almost continuous drizzle and the occasional heavier shower - but this did not appear in any way to affect the atmosphere of friendly rivalry and camaraderie which pervaded the whole event, both on the course and afterwards in the Clubhouse over sausage, egg and chips.

B Spencer and S Rushworth beat C Harrison and A Anggard 4&3
The superbly crafted trophy shown right, which was manufactured by RH engineering, was presented by Derek Powell on behalf of the EGGS to the TT Roll-up team organiser, Nigel French. It will be kept in secure custody until the opportunity comes around for the friendly rivalry between the two groups to be renewed, maybe next year...
